I really quite like it! I’d buy a 1:400 if they bring one out…

I’ll ask my Grandfather, who was in the engine shop when it happened and has a copy of the original report. I’ve never heard him say anything un-just about it so either he’s been keeping quiet all these years, nothing happened, or he just didn’t know about it.

My parents split when I was 5 and I’m not an alcoholic. So that wasn’t exactly an excuse to waste away his liver through alcohol.

It’s already been done! There’s a pic or two of the first one leaving Hong Kong having been fitted with them at HAESL. I saw it on the ramp earlier on this week but didn’t get a pic. They do look very good!

Looks very neat as kevinwm says. It looks like it’s between two frames and two stringers to me. The structure is designed to stop a tear “Running” So it works!!!

Yeah, someone at work said today that the skins have certain ‘tear’ points to prevent whole sections coming off.

Looks like a lot of fun! They certainly do get close to the edge….

I was wondering the whole way through if they ‘glided’ to a stop until they pulled the chutes in the last few seconds.

Reminds me of the Aloha airlines 737-200 incident and the Miracle Landing film that followed it.

Is anyone else experience a ‘slow-ness’ with the forums loading? I have accessed it over the last couple of weeks from several different countries, on several different computers with several different specs and IE/Mozilla versions – and all have been rather slow.

Does it just need a bit of a clean out? Or is it just me? 🙂

I’m all for Brussels and I love gherkins, but I have to swallow olives quickly if I have to eat them as I can’t stand the taste. Still, people’s tastes change so it might not always be the way!

My problem is that my taste buds can’t stand tea or coffee! It makes things rather difficult sometimes…
