Sad news; you might as well just fly BA out there now (unless you want the very (ahem) stylish QF A380 experience).

Qantas certainly are on a cost reduction drive.

If you give us the dates you want to travel and the price range you want, a few of us could play around with several different options to see if we can come up with something interesting (well, those of us who have too much free time!).

Nice to see some airlines can still have a sense of humour! Fantastic.

No scandals apart from rigged phone-in competitions, you mean.

But what’s a few million quid between friends?

And was one of them not in trouble about some speeding issue a few years back?

Well that’s going to reduce the airflow into the fan somewhat!

I once took these pictures at a TuiFly maintenance base showing the front and rear recommended exclusion zones respectively (on a 737):

I’ve always been with Telewest/Virgin (ntl) and I’ve never had any complaints with them (the broadband service at least). I think they are always the leaders in speed (currently trialing 50Mbit) and offer uncapped download. They get my vote.

I thought he was really good, pulls of the “emoitionless” look very well. Was great to see Leonard Nimoy in it as well.

I’ve never been a big Star Trek fan (never made a point of watching it, but have had nothing against it), but I do enjoy Sci-Fi films.

As a non Trekkie; I loved it too! Thought it was superb. Simon Pegg putting in a fantastic performance as Scottie.
