It would also mean a dihedral wing, which is not as economic as the anhedral, and doesn’t lend itself to winglets or other aerodynamic improvement ideas.

What about the C-17? That has winglets.

Good press or bad press, I will still fly with them as on occasions they are able to get me from A to B for the cheapest fare (charges and travel costs included!).

Maybe it was a case of – she really couldn’t hold it in any longer. In which instance, it would be a very unfortunate incident.

I’m not saying it is,of course they have crime like anywhere else.I just think life’s a darn sight more pleasant there because the majority appear to have retained respect for themselves and other people .

I wonder what it is? The water? Whatever the reason, it’s good enough for me seeking a job over there 🙂

Agreed, NZ is a lovely place as are the people. Though I have spent enough time there to say that they do have issues on their streets and their news stories do feature internal problems. I’m not saying they’re as bad as us! But like most places, it’s not a haven 😉

I’m almost a bit annoyed. I totally agree that there are wee bug*ers on our streets and in our parliament, but we are NOT an isolated case! Idiots like this can be found the world over! You’re not going to totally escape it by moving country.

Think of the US and their horrible gun crime, or African countries that are plagued by genocide and civil war. Asian countries with their recent rioting and terrorist acts.

Granted, several of our neighbours in mainland Europe may have ‘fewer’ yobs but they are still around – as is organised crime over there.

So even though a few here may have grown up in ‘better times’, sadly it is the World today and not necessarily just the UK.

I think a lot of people on this forum, myself included, will have experienced a relative or a friend go through something difficult. As a result, certain ‘jokes’ or ‘light hearted remarks’ on a certain topic may no longer seem as funny to someone that has experienced the topic first hand. However, they are still made and people still do laugh at them. If people were to stop making jokes about things like this, the world would be a more sombre place and shows like Family Guy would never exist!

Live each day as though it’s your last-one day it will be.

If only we had the money to do that!

Is this not similar to CCTV tracking your movements and monitoring you? If so, my view still stands: if you’re not doing anything wrong, you don’t have anything to worry about. And if someone attempts to do something wrong, or DOES something wrong, then the aids are there to prevent them or catch them.
