It delayed the Emirates A380 first arrival and it also missed out on its water cannon salute 😮 Genius :p
B: Why didn’t they just pour some coffee down her and stick her out of sight, avoiding said consequences/delay etc?
Aren’t each member of the cabin crew responsible for a certain portion of the passengers? All I’m saying, is that I hope if they did “let her off” and forget about it, she would still be able to preform just as on-the-ball in an emergency as the other “sober” crew….
I would say that the 757’s are on the verge of becoming classics. Beuatiful aircraft that are loved by all (if not, most) and are going to be slowly brought out of service and broken up in the years to come.
Thanks for the infor from you both. Reconfirming what a good trip it should be! We’re booked on an early afternoon one so we can have a late rise and stick around for all there is to see after.
Shame about the pics, but I was prepared for that as it does state it when you book it. Also, if you could take pics, no doubt the net would be flooded with them!

Power: On
EVERETT, Wash., June 20, 2008 — The Boeing Company [NYSE:BA] has completed the Power On sequence for the first 787 Dreamliner, marking the completion of the next major milestone on the path to first flight later this year.
That’s the badger!
I saw it on Sat or Sun also and assumed it was a DC3 doing pleasure flights as they will be grounded soon. But that was just an assumption, I have no idea who it belonged to or what it was doing…..
Will this also go into the Airport staff raffle at the end of the year? :p
Yes, I experienced the rather lary squaddies in HanNover when I was staying there, as there is a base just south of the city.
Would have superb if there was actually an EDI-HAJ service last year – would have made getting there/back a far lot easier/cheaper instead of routing through AMS/SOU!
Great shots, shame EDI is somewhat of an un-interesting airport in terms of movements 🙁
I’m sure you could find 10,000 people willing to fork out £250 to keep them afloat, I know I would!
Great shots.
I’ve never really understood the Aer Lingus levery…..to me that light green line along the windows and the odd blue line underneath it seems like a bad paint job gone wrong once upon a time and they just decided to stick with it! I reckon its about time they adopt a new scheme!
well everyone, at least us spotters have a hobby, something to do with our spare time, we should be proud of ourselves, at least we dont act like thugs, take drugs, drink ourselves to oblivion and cause untold violence like alot of our fellow citizens……lets be proud of our hobby, we are above all that.
Spotter 4 ever !!!!
Speak for yourself! :p I’m a student also (for a couple more weeks at least), so as well as enjoying all things aviation that certainly features on my list 😀
It’s obvious, I know, but this is a good example of just how detailed, in depth and intense the investigations must be in situations like this. Weighing in numerous different variables and trying to find a cause for something that is previously unexplained.
Wonderful pics! Absolutely love the Brussels one!
