MontyP: it cant be because the photo you found was taken on the 11th november and the origional 747 photo was taken on the 20th november.
maybe he’s been to that spot more than once
Nice, I’ll be keeping an eye out for them while I’m at work. Do you know expected arrival/departure times?
i hope you dont mind me asking, but where is it you work?
Are you referring to something like this: http://www.atg-airships.com/ ? Don’t know what stage they’re at, but they look quite impressive (Isn’t strictly ‘civil’ though!)
Well……can’t really say I’ve ever seen anything as impressive as that before ! That must take some piloting and some impressive aircraft capabilities to pull that off!
Happy birthday!
Hope you’ve had, having and will have a good one!
Yes, it wasn’t terribly accurate but I think it was trying to focus more on how the UK services would respond which it put accross well. And yes, it was also quite bad publicity for NATS
did they actually say how it WAS adverted, or did I just miss that?
Infact, just about everything installed in the cabin is supplied by third parties
So how does Boeing’s new “signature” interior work? Are they installing that themselves and by-passing the third party?
I’ve only ever flown Atlantic in a 777 and 744. Personally I prefer the 744 because when I get up to have a walk around it just feels more spacious. Im not claustrophobic, but it has a nice feeling of spaciousness. I’ve never flown in a tri-jet though, so would love to cross in a MD11.
As for pre-booking seats I’ve always managed to get the seat I want thankfully and it’s never been changed. That may just be down to the service from the airlines I’ve flown though. I usually try and get an isle seat so I can have some extra legroom by using the isle to my advantage!
Need to look organised or I won’t impress my travelling companion
ah….city of love eh! :p
If he did something which jeopardised the flight, I don’t think any airport would want the fact they turned away a diverted flight over their heads
Nice shots!
The 154 looks quite nice, but I’d always be paranoid about flying on one…..not got the best safety records. My flatmate went/returned to Bulgaria in the summer on one and said it wasn’t his most comfortable flying experience. Especially since the night before he had watched an air crash show involving a 154 in his hotel room 😮
How long before we get a rogue 777 taking itself off to somewhere warm like the Bahamas because it doesn’t want to go to Russia
magnificent shots, well done 😮
All the best for everyone in 2006!
Visit Scotland and come see the local wildlife eh! They are allowed to roam free with the other inhabitants of this beautiful country, and are left to their own devices 😡
I can think of somewhere very fitting where a firework should be attached to that ned and lit
