that’s quite an uneven tan in the last one 😉 would never get tired of those pics, nice selection.
thanks for that 🙂
nice shots. may be being a bit naive here….but what’s with the bmi livery? is it being leased and if so from who?
EDIT: ok, I now see that it’s a combination of their old livery with the new ‘bmi’ titles….why though?
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all forum members!
Hope Santa brings you all your dream plane tomorrow 😀
I expect to see a 744 outside my door at 7am (you better be listening St. Nick!)
it was The Terminal: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362227/plotsummary
Thank you so much! That’s terrific 😀
Hi, ANZ 787 or if that’s not possible 772ER please 🙂 if you get bored, maybe the same plane in old and new livery?
Thanks in advance, it’s ok if you don’t have time though, judas
I’ve always wandered if there were a bigger market for seaplanes on the scale of the Spruce Goose serving popular beach resorts that are out of the way of mainland airports. Would be well suited for “The Palm/World Islands” being developed in Dubai.
Very nice idea! Would come in handy for people like UAE, BA, ANZ who will be using these on long flights.
Can you imagine how spooked passengers will be when they hear footsteps above them, and not realise where it’s coming from :p
There’s a couple of things I suppose you have to look at here. Firstly if you had say 5 Terrorist’s on board, I think there would be a sufficient number of strong pax that would be willing and able to overpower them.
However, they’re not called Terrorists for a reason and therefore must have some form of weapon/s on board that are enabling them to hijack the plane. As a result of this I don’t think they would take kindly to people trying to stop them and would happily open fire on anyone trying to attempt. Or even worse, if they did have an explosive on board I don’t think they would be too hesitant to detonate it at any sign of threat if it meant they weren’t going to reach their goal.
Personally, I’m not sure if I would have the courage to stand up and fight them, I’ve just never been a big fan of confrontation. I think maybe if it was pre-planned amongst the pax it would work but I’m not sure if one loan freedom fighter throwing themselves at the Terrorists would do any good. Just my P.O.V.

Yeah, when my Grandfather worked for ANZ he went along on one of those flights – thankfully not that one. Due to his position in the company he received a full accident report. I’ve read it once or twice and they were way off they designated path.
Still, when done properly I think it is an amazing trip and good to see it’s back up again. I wonder if ANZ would ever start it up again after their loss.
How long do Thai Airways plan on keeping their MD-11’s for?
Wonderful photos! The MAS looks nice, although I do like the SN Brussels BAe peaking behind the bmiBaby :p
Yeah, good show. Maybe a 7/10? Anyway, back to aviation :p Yeah, I had to laugh also when Jonny whats his name (presenter) said that the ATR would be taking them to Russia
