I like the way you’ve used slimmer formats than 6×4…suits the aircraft….do you do Airliners.net?
Thanks. I use 16:9 aspect ratio so I can run slide shows on HD widescreen TV.
I also think the ratio is better for aircraft – not as much empty space.
I used a.net years ago but gave up. I post on Jetphotos. I haven’t got the time to spend 5 hours on each photo getting it to a.net ridiculous standards. The shots I post on here are reduced to about 20% and sharpened so they are not optimal quality.
Some more from sunny Tenerife…

Cheers for looking !
Well done!….nice find, that spot…do you know if there’s something similar at Las Palmas?
Thanks. Yes there are plenty of photo spots at Las Palmas. Another excellent airport for photos.
It’s the greatest aircraft ever to fly in my opinion. A disgrace it isn’t still flying. A truly magnificent aircraft. Great shots.
Cheers folks. @Newforest – yep shooting north. The sun is good between about 11am and 5pm this time of year.
Cheers Eddy. Yep been on quite a few trips recently. Off to Palma again end April (although might be a bit too early in year) and finally getting to Istanbul and Antalya in May.
@farnboroughrob – Wow that Santa Barbara DC-10 was amazing. I wished I’d seen that beauty.
I’ll share my TFS shots soon….
Great take off angles and backgrounds. Excellent.
Very nice. Great catch Chris.
I remember my first ever spotting trip to Heathrow in 1983. Some Paris diversions were in. 2 Air France 747s and 2 Iraqi 747s were on the ground. The new livery on the 777 is beautiful. Hope they start painting up the A321s and A330s too.
Wow to the F28 !
Great shots. Love the last shot. Nice sunshine as well. In Tenerife at moment and it’s been raining half the time !
Great selection Scotty. The Aeromexico 767 with winglets is mega as they say. Not many 727s about these days so another great catch.
Cheers. Let me know when to plan to visit. I’ll join out down there.
Those Interflug shots are amazing.
Crikey Keith ! I am not interested in helicopters but I would take a photo of that ! Full scheme ! Excellent.
Great stuff Robert. Love the Turkish A320 with the crow flying in the foreground !
Crikey – had to edit this. Turkish A319 ? Didn’t know they had them !
Never been keen on “mongrel” planes. Clearly an ex-Austrian scheme. I love the way they’ve painted a green arrow next to the original Austrian one near the nose ! Cheeky ! Southend does get some remarkable stuff. next Heathrow trip this year and I’m popping in for a quick stop.
