Ta Aeropics…no AeroGals or Zambezi but lots of charters. I loved the place.
Some arrivals on 24L. In order to get the mountainous backgrounds you have to park the car and walk about 200 yards back down the main road parallel to the runway. There is a gate set back so it’s a good place to stand but it’s better having small step ladders. Here is a selection from a couple of hours mid to late morning.
British invasion !

Other countries now….

Ryanair….ok it got us here though….

These were taken from the mound not far from a very dodgy neighbourhood….

I wish I was there Eddy. If you’d told me earlier I would have joined you. Superb stuff !
Thanks folks. I’ve got loads more – I’ll share over the weekend…
Cheers folks.
Here are the few shots I got from the beach when they used 06L for landing. I didn’t stay here long as I just wanted a quick shot of another one of the TUI schemers (I had all the schemers on FR24 alerts !)
06L landing shots. All these taken in the space of about ten minutes…

Some more from the car park…

Ok it’s not the cargo variety (Keith and co in Norwich) but it will do for now !….

Blimey. Nesma ! Never even saw that at Sharm El Sheikh.
Mega movement.
Ooh nice.
Great set Rob. Orbest A330 ? I didn’t even photograph one in a week at Palma. One was parked up but it never moved.
Sad indeed. I saw two of them in Palma earlier in the day on the 9th.
It is also rather appropriate that you posted these pictures today, as BMI Baby’s last flight will be landing at East Midlands later tonight.
I saw two of them at Palma today. I didn’t realise this was their last day.
Great set of shots !
Sorted now – thanks. Ryanair – all is forgiven !
Great selection there Matt. I don’t know where you got the weather from. It’s been awful all week !!! Nice to see the Libyan back. I never saw the A320, just the CRJ.
Good stuff there Neil. What a shame about the weather. Egyptair Cargo lovely ! We had same situation at Frankfurt in June 2010 – it was throwing it down so we drove up to Dusseldorf and it was sunny all day. The difference a hundred or so miles makes.
Superb as always Eddy. Love the TMA and Air Bridge. The Transavia with KLM in background is fantastic.
