Great lighting on the BA 744. Not bad for a red 🙂
Best shots I’ve seen for a while. The DC-3 is wonderful. So is the touchdown shot of the KLM Embraer. Grrrr – the bloomin Star Air B767F in the background ! I still haven’t seen it at Manchester despite me living only 9 miles from the airport. It’s in all the time and I haven’t seen it once.
Great pics Tartan. We are in Italy in September and this is defo on the itinerary !
Thank you Culpano, the UPS doesn’t park on the DHL ramp, it goes down to the eastern ramp where i shot the TNT 777, when i was shooting the Saudi the UPS departed to Cologne 😡 The TNT is in every night doing the old A300 flights, Belfast – EMA arrives at 9.30pm and departs to Liege at 11.30pm, It stops in September to be replaced with something else, no idea what though 😎
Regards
Danny
Cheers for the info. We started to drive down from Manchester last week to get a photo of a UPS 767 and two DHL 767s which were due but we got stuck on M6 so gave up 😡
Will keep an eye out for that TNT B777 on Flightradar and hope it gets in early one night !
May get it in Miami or LAX in October 🙂
Great shots. That cargo ramp is so busy. No UPS ??? Is the TNT B777 a regular ? I know it’s only recently been delivered.
Excellent shots considering the conditions. I like the composition of them.
Hainan Airlines are starting up at Madrid in Sept using A330s. Good times too so should be a good opportunity from the mound.
Manchester only gets one daily US Airways A330 flight. I think the other one went “tech” the day before and it was towed to the stand this morning before the usual one departed.
Correct !
Nope. Fraid not…
Hee hee – that should be the real answer !
Some good quality movements at Luton there. Excellent stuff.
Nice shots Tartan. I keep missing the Turkish A330 and I missed the Tarom A319 on my last trip because my missus wanted to go to Tesco 😮
Hee hee – I quite like that scheme. You fly these don’t you ?
