The Malmo wasn’t ideal – usually after 4pm the light at AVP is perfect but I think sun was too strong. The light in morning when Grey Area took his shots is great from T1 car park and you are overhead on the shots which I prefer.
Yep saw it. Didn’t post my pics to steal your thunder just cos I was there the same day.

Slight over-reaction there me thinks.
One website in Spain had the headline “Ibiza plane bursts into flames above holiday island”. Dear me.
…and these were from the viewing park in the afternoon. Light conditions were not ideal…

They are indeed of interest. Excelllent. Saw the Cubana at Madrid but would have preferred a ground shot. Donbassaero is quality – that’s the Aerosvit flight I think. I saw G-POWD at Barca in May.
Hee hee love the mound at Madrid. A lot of your shots are very similar to mine (ie the Aeromexico 777 is almost identical).
Conviasa A340 !!!! Worth a trip just for that – amazing !
Nice shots. I saw VN-A151 at Seoul and it was more blue whereas the one you saw is more green. Never noticed that before.
It’s down a road next to a farm but you have to shoot between trees and you only get a one second window to shoot. The aircraft are landing a fair distance away so have to crop them a bit so lose quality. I can’t remember the name of the road or farm. It’s a few hundred yards west of the M23 motorway I think so head in that direction on the runway 26 approach and you are not far away.
Great shot of VT-VJX…… done 4 flights alone on that bird in the past 8 months. 🙂
Cheers. The Jet AW and Kingfisher are troublesome to photograph as to get them you have to wait until summer months and light is too head on. Just about got away with it with some photo processing.
Good shots there Tartan. Pity you were a bit unlucky with not getting any middle east stuff such as Kuwait A320s, Etihad A320s, Gulf A320s and Royal Jordanian Embraers. I went to Athens in 1994 and some of the stuff was truly exotic but the lighting was poor from the Emmantena Hotel rooftop.
I hope I am not boring you guys yet
You are kidding. Great selection.
Tremendous.
Not my area of interest but a very decent website – nice one. I wouldn’t mind doing something like this for my civil airport trips. I love that red arrows portrait shot (it is the red arrows ?)
Intruder killed and I would have to admit I can fully understand the actions of the residents so no sympathy from me.
Nor me. Great news. The scumbag has absolutely no right to be on his property. He got what he deserved. Ha – ring the Police ? Brilliant. They whizz round in their cars with lights flashing and radios blaring to warn the burgler off ! Then stroll in saying “if it happens again let us know”. Pathetic.
