Superb selection. We got the Belavia CRJ a couple of months ago at Manchester but I missed it. Love the Saudi Cargo MD-11.
Very nice colour schemes indeed! I managed to catch the yellow Pokemon 747 in great light at Haneda and caught both of them in the same frame a few days later up in Sapporo at New Chitose, shame terrible weather meant it was unusable!
Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Cheers. I’ve been very lucky with the weather on my two trips to Japan. Both times the weather was fantastic. Cool-ish and clear skies. Only disappointment was Kansai which is poor for photos imho. Never been to Sapporo – looks like there is a great deck there judging by the photos on JP and Airliners.
Just three pictures ? It’s quality not quantity. I love the Chinese stuff. Good shots.
What disgusts me is that it’s always about who’s to blame and “it wasn’t us” etc. They couldn’t care less about the poor 113 people who lost their lives. They are only bothered about them not being seen as responsible. They come out with these “our sympathies go to the families” etc. Load of tosh – they are just reading from a sheet and feel absolutely nothing of the sort. Disgusting.
A perfect analogy is the scene in Fawlty Towers where Basil Fawlty is jumping up and down and crying “oh joy oh joy” over the dead guest because he’s just realised the death was not due to his out of date kippers.
quality movement.
Good stuff. Like the Qatar 777.
Top notch. I need to go to China next year. Not seen enough far eastern stuff.
Need more !!!
True, there are some unusual airlines visiting, but, just more mainstream stuff when i visited.
It’s great fun getting a decent selection of stuff from another airport when on a flying visit. Like the Olympic and Aegean props.
…and not the first either. Most of the fleet has routed thru GLA enroute from delivery. More to come also….
Oi Glasgow, let Manchester have one. Don’t be greedy. 🙂
Nice shots. Worth it for the Fly Dubai. What on earth was that doing in Glasgow ?
Nikon D5000 is good for the money. A while back my mate said he wanted to buy a DSLR and was dead set on the Nikon D300 at £1100 for the body. I asked him why he wanted to spend that much on one. He said he liked all the bells and whistles. Anyway he used it on a Europe trip in June – I had my D40 which is much inferior camera. He came back and wasn’t too impressed with the pictures. Mine looked better quality. I looked at the settings and he had the quality set to medium. Dozy fool !
(KIX my favourite!)
Osaka Kansai was hopeless. The only disappointment on the trip. The sun is on the wrong side and they weren’t landing over the bridge. The last time I was there it was cloudy and they were landing on 24 so it was ok. Basically the deck is in the wrong place.
Continental Micronesia service from Guam.
Some more…
No doubt the High level economic forum being held in the capital resulted in extra security
Yep the G20 Summit didn’t help and some of our group were even told they couldn’t write numbers down. My room-mate got his log confiscated ! How I got so many pictures is a miracle. Some of the other guys gave up but I didn’t.
