Hi Martin I put photos of these parts on an other thread last year and someone thought that the bakelite item could be the base of an old phone.
aircraft or civilian building phone?
Some more parts?
I recognise the 3rd item, its one of those parachute things the army or RAF used at that beach when they did training back in the 70s I find heaps of fuses from those and the container in your photograph it should have a string pulley thing in it
Hi brataccas……have look at the thread “Wellington wreckage found?” By peppermint_jam if my memory serves me right.
ok cheers
I was back there myself again today, pickings were a bit thinner on the ground.
that’s probably my fault. I picked up absaloute heaps and in the process of treating and preserving them.
The rest of the bits spotted can be viewed here:

Am not particularly convinced that they are all aviation related.
the silver circle thing you photographed I found that last week, I couldnt carry anymore so I left it .-) also that yellow cylinder I found ages ago too and didn’t bother with it, I dont think its aircraft related. I found an aviation pipe connector thing at that same spot but I accidently dropped it, if you find it I hope you take a photo of it .-)
good pics thanks for sharing
may I ask what thread you are referring to? id like to see pictures of that .-)
Had a walk (stumble!) along the beach east of Lossie today, a beautiful day and place!
Found a few bits:

This piece is about 3ft/1m long. No markings seen.
These pics dont do that colossal piece any justice! I found that piece thanks to yourself pointing out the whereabouts, I am currently inspecting this piece after spraying it with WD40 and have found a stamp .-)
edit: awesome just found another one on this piece, a circle stamp with letters and numbers inside. Will post them once I get a clear idea of what the numbers read
Is there any stamps in the metal
I cant find any stamps 🙁 oddly enough I can NEVER find any stamps on the big pieces
Is it Finnish?
sorry…
what is PR? or what does it stand for? thanks
found this 2 tone piece today at that beach, its navy blue? or black and white paint remaining, a very nice piece: its about a foot long, anyone know what it may be from?
It may be unlikely but that’s what it is.
In fact the chances are its from XW666, it crashed 4.5miles North East of where the parts were found, about 10 miles nearer than the Welly.
I emailed that website and asked what aircraft their part for sale was for and they said it destined for a Nimrod
cool thanks bobby, too bad it doesnt specify what aircraft its from..
and thanks also whitleyproject, I found something else today which I fear is a motor vehicle piece but not sure, I took it with me just incase, closer inspection I noticed a lot of stamps and serials on it “SR45447/1” and underneath that serial says “NO 653” and to the right 2 oval circle engraving with “G4I/S” in one and other below is half faded so it looks like “00o” and otherside of those stamps it says “NO29” military aircraft related? kinda reminds me of an exhaust or engine component(?)
noone? 🙁 also these were near the above parts, is the yellow thing aircraft related? Ill assume the washed up engine is from a car(?)
.
Hi again all got a chance to go back to the area and got some pretty exciting finds I think, one piece has a lot of writing on it but my cameraphone is bad so I wrote in red what it all says on it in a seperate picture (on second post): Anyone care to identify these components?
Nice finds// that frame appears to be a headlight surround fro ma vehicle..
you sure? the frame is just over 1 foot long, too big to be a headlight?
long piece which Ill assume is from the wellington
