Its funny how the aviation bug seems to filter through the generations

Yup I have AJ. Janet (my optometrist) and I faffed about all one afternoon recently finding that one brand were too narrow but vision was okay but second brand fitted better but left me vidually cross-eyed (worse than natural). Lot of effort for little gain on both sides. 🙁

What kind of vision do you have? Unless you have a complex prescription it shouldn’t be too much hassle to find a pair of contact lenses for you. I wouldn’t give up on that idea yet – maybe even go to another optician and get a second opinion. The big stores like Spec Savers/Boots have all the latest advances in contact lenses that smaller places don’t always have. It’s worth a try.

Once you’ve tried contacts you’ll never go back to glasses – I wouldn’t dream of flying in anything else!!!

Oh dear is all I can say. Let’s hope we can get things back on track soon. It is especially significant because of France’s prominent position within the EU.

I would also like to see the single currency being extended to Britain. I think it’s about time we learned that we can’t exist as a little island anymore!

Is it me or has this got a little bit out of hand? Don’s last post read like the law textbooks I have to fathom out! I see what you’re saying but does it have to become so complicated???
