    German WW2 Aircraft Photos

Seen these on ebay:- 68 photos supposedly original but I notice on the back of one a copyright note in English!
Don’t know why they think their worth over half a grand! There is another set
    aswell.

Im looking forward to the remake, think about it? you have somebody who has made the best films probably ever made and he is an aircraft nut who is willing to spend money on them.
The reason why its on the back burner is because he is totally exhausted making the Hobbit.

While the aircraft design wasn’t influenced the installation of the Radial engine certainly was,
The exiting of the of the individual exhaust pipes to the sides of the fuselage owes much to the FW190, previous installations of the Centaurus on the Tornado had an ugly pig pipe
    on one side.

The reason this all happens is because voluntary organisations always attract a few people who maybe haven’t been very successful in their working lives and it gives them an opportunity to get a bit of power, its an ego thing and they mistakenly believe that to get recognized you have to upset a lot of people. Which is probably the reason they never made a success of their working life anyway.
I think all museums which started off by the hard working initial members should have a clear mandate that everybody understands which includes behaviour to others.

Thanks for posting, I found it very interesting. I thought at exactly 2 minutes into the film that we were looking at a Tempest seat from the back? Probably wrong!

While totally agreeing with your sentiments, Commander West is spot on by saying that they should send a sub or say one is in the area.
If that had happened before the War would never have taken place, as was proved that the Argentinian Navy is a one shot Navy and after the sinking of the Belgrano they never again left port.
What really pi***es me off is the other South American nations ganging up, so they don’t export anything to us then?

Apart from the one in Hendon, does anybody know what other bits are left of the aircraft
    type?
