I know I normally try and be as obtuse as possible when linking images but the chance to post a link to a pic of a Comet 2 cannot be missed as this particular airframe is the one that started my life long interest in aviation. I saw it whilst on a school trip along the Bridgewater Canal and made my Grandad take me back to see it that weekend. It was scrapped a few weeks later…..
