From a colourful drone to a black and white (and wonderfully atmospheric!) Queen Bee
I was exploring pill boxes at RAF Cranage and disturbed a rather large and ill tempered ram. It wasn’t an amazing find, but it certainly was memorable…..
Just off to the shops to buy a 100″ monitor:p:D
Whoops, my bad LOL! Fixed it now. Next time, I will check for the ‘0’ at the end of the image size and hit the preview button!
Same Weapon, same number of engines……
Different aircraft
I heard a rumour that Mr Oliver of Oliver Valves had said that he has one in storage in Knutsford
…….. however following accounts of dealings with Mr Oliver from a member of my family, I would take that with a large shovel of salt. :diablo:

Mk22
Just saw this on The Dew Line and it reminded me of this thread
Have a look,

Fascinating piece and a lot of info. Is it just me or does that aircraft look like some of the BAe projects to HS1206 (I stand to be corrected on the project number but it was around that time and I dont have my copy of Secret Projects to hand!)
X/Y/F-24
The F-24 exists and it is a two seat Naval F-22 development. I might be making this up, however.:diablo:
Ramco occasionally have aircraft and related items of interest up for sale
Hawk T2 cockpit?
how about a Hawk 200 then?
Just a thought
An A330 based MPA could be an option? From my days working at Airtours when the A330 was being introduced, I seem to remember a discussion based around the redundant centre landing gear bay left over from using the common 330/340 centre section. This could surely become the location of some sort of munition delivery system or for a retractable sensor suite? Aside from the benefits of already having a cadre of A330 crews, you would have spares commonality with the Voyager fleet, excellent endurance, good agility, plenty of internal space and a reasonable amount of second hand airframes in the market place. There would also be a reasonable export market, given that there are other air forces already using the A330 in the same way we are?
I await incredulous reactions and the like with baited breath 😀
Does this fit the bill:

Quick google on ‘Raf Regiment Hispano cannon’ did the trick.
Is that Burma? Are those Spitfires? Did the Rock Apes go too far when the order went out to dig in?………
