On the other hand the Hornet looks quit good imho, nowhere near the Rafale of course.

They seem to have the same problems like Austria faces with the EFs. It can’t fly in the cold etc.
Of course everybody believes the s*** in the media.

I heard that the F/A-18C had the same range as the F/A-18E went equipped with the same larger fuel tanks of the Super Hornet! Can anyone comfirm that?

I even heard the E has no range advantage over the C without tanks. Can’t believe that though.

I read somewhere the combat speed (whatever that means) of the SH is around M 1.6 whereas the old C flies at 1.7 :rolleyes:

The Bs and Ds are Trainers and the Strike Eagle is more ore less another plane. So when you see a Strike Eagle Demo, it should be a double seater most of the time. 😀
The F-18D is only used by the Marines as a fighter. Maybe the Marines fly demos in their Ds.

The Super Bug is in frontline service both as a single and double seater, the others are not. Just a guess.

Well, this is actually very simple:

For the Vipers: Call in some real Fighters (F-15s 😀 )

For the MiGs: Hope theres no Eagles around. :p
