I will say it didnt take much thrusting for you to agree to a peek of the wiring diagrams.

Well done lads,

I know you’ve both put a lot of hard work and personal expense into this airframe project, it’s nice to see it all start to come together.:)

All you need now, is to find some gullable idiot to do the electrics …………………..oh hang on sec:confused: …………………. Martin keeps thrusting wiring diagrams under my nose in the canteen.:eek: 😮 .

That’s just the sort of thing the MAM is about.

Give the museum a ring on 02476 301033 to arrange, or just turn up.

However by just turning up, we wouldn’t be able to ensure guides etc, are available.

They’re not real engines mate, I think this mod was done for the James Bond movie.(see below) 🙂

It’s a site used by pilots/ engineers that’s created from their input. 🙂 🙂

Click on aircraft systems, then click anywhere on the pic of the overhead.Or click on flightdeck for some very detailed photgraphs.
Not sure if exact dimensions are on there, but lots and lots of tech info.

Anyway I’m going to be offline as from tommorow night, because I’m moving house Thursday ……..YAY…….so I’ll leave you in the randy hands of Rob for a week or two, until i get my boadband up and running at the new house 😀 .

Timetable of events:

Wed:- Do some packing/go to MAM while the Mrs doing some more packing. 😀

Thurs:- Move house/go to MAM if I can shake her off for an hour or two. 😀 😀

Friday:- Mrs unpacking as I’m off to Farnborough!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

Saturday:- Mrs leaves in disgust……….get more time tinkering with planes. :p

Well that’s the plan at least….problem is, she’s way too tolerant….bless :rolleyes:

Well done guys looking good!
I seem to remember that the F6 Lightning was owned by a business man and that he left it there on loan, I recall speaking to him one year at a ‘wings and wheels day’ is this still the case and does he still look after it?

The guy who’s been working on it recently is an airframe fitter at Brize Norton, who after working on aircraft all week, comes along and helps us out on his days off 😮 (and a throughly nice gent he is too)
