In theory yes, and they do get moved occasionally, however it all depends on airframe conditon etc.

    Hope that helps.

Answer is both, depends which is most suitable at the time.

Small detailed areas tend to be brush.

Ahh……sounds right up my street Rob, I feel a lend coming on :p

Plenty of techy stuff to absorb, I need to know these things! Some say it’s healthy interest in aviation technology, other say I’m sick/get a life, but hey ho we’re all different. :p ๐Ÿ˜€
As my good lady would say “hmmm…….whatever floats ya boat love (whilst ruffling my hair). ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

P.S. Jag…..hmmm if you don’t mind mate, we’ll keep this our little secret, no need to instill any false hope in him that I might spend some money, it be would cruel.. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Nice…….looks like I’ve found a home for those book tokens I was given for my birthday. ๐Ÿ˜€

Do you think it contains a fair amount of technical based info, or do you reckon it will more biased towards aircraft history?

    Cheers

    Fair point Bruce!……..I should have said ‘relative to me’…lol ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Sorry, just a bit of teasing towards Rob on my part, he’ll get his own back, one of these days ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Agree about the Jag at Brunty though, even if it’s not to everyones tastes, the airframe is being protected which a good thing.

    Cheers

“”Finally, MAM are also bucking the trend in attracting younger members to come and work on the aircraft, such as Rob. I wish we could all do the same.””

Well that’s going to make Rob’s week !!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ (abeit if slightly inaccurate ‘says Kev sniggering a bit’;) :diablo: ๐Ÿ˜ฎ :diablo: )

I don’t want to get drawn too much into the discussion about paint schemes, as I’m more into the preservation of the what see as wonderful historic engineering, so my knowledge of squadron’s and the such is probably somewhat inferior than most, I like nut’s and bolts, wires and gadgetery etc. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

So to close, today Rob and myself refitted all the panels and step insets, straightened/re-shaped them so the portside of fuselage is now smooth and flush fitting ready for painting. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Take care

    Kev ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. Forgot to add, thanks for your kind comments above all.

P.S. If you got a car for your birthday, you’d better be taking a trip down the M69 with your overalls, and a sense of humour. :p (there’s an Argosy that needs painting).

    Yup……. really enjoyed that!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Can’t figure out where that nose camera is when you see it from the forward facing angle. :confused:Maybe they used two planes for the filming, as also the rear camera looks fixed (by bandages) to a solid bracket but then pivots in flight.
Maybe they had to to make several flights in two different a/c to acheive the final result, like the movies do! :diablo:

    Or maybe I’m talking bo****ks ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

    Great film though.

Mine is the fat, sweaty person who takes up the thereโ€™s and your seats in one go, and they always seem to be sat next to me.

    I think that’s a bit personal actually!! ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿ˜ก

It’s my glands you know, not my fault.

Ok, point taken! ๐Ÿ™‚ (on a short haul cattle trip tho’…..my argument was on a KLM 777….lots of room).

However, I agree with your tip as I’m of a similar frame to you, and try to use the same method to hold the seat forward with my knees. But you do need to keep your concentration though, as it can be painful when they recline,if your relaxed and not expecting it…lol ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyway I will stop making cruel remarks about my ‘Heir Fuhrer’, cos’ she is lovely really! :diablo:

    Cheers
