Two Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2bs together
Here’s a short air-to-air video of The Vintage Aviator’s TWO Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2b reproductions, in the air together for the first time:
The two aircraft took off just on sunset which is why this video is a little dark and grainy. Never-the-less it’s still pretty cool to see something like this which hasn’t been seen for over 90 years.

RNZAF A4 Skyhawk Display – 1990
Hi all,
Once upon a time, the Royal New Zealand Air Force had a combat wing which included an A-4 Skyhawk display team. We’ve recently found some footage of one of the displays held in Auckland, New Zealand in 1990. check it out here:

Hi,
We have one of the Hurricane replicas built for BoB here at Omaka Aerodrome, in Blenheim, New Zealand.Take a look at the following page
http://www.classicfighters.co.nz/aircraft/hurricanebob.htm
The attached photo was taken at Classic Fighters 2003 (Easter 2003) — the theme of the show was North Africa, so the Hurricane had been painted in a representative North African colour scheme.
A little more work has been done on the aircraft in the past 18 months, in particular in the nose area!
Cheers,
Allan
Hi all,
If anyone wants to keep up to date with what’s happening at Omaka in the lead up to Classic Fighters Marlborough 2005 (Easter), you can join our regular email mailing list. There’s a link on this page:
http://www.classicfighters.co.nz/miscpages/news.htm
Over the next few weeks I will be able to add a lot more info to the site as various aircraft are confirmed for the show. I’ll also be adding more photos to many of the pages (some more of Alex’s great shots), and quite a few more video clips as well.
Check it out 🙂
Cheers,
Allan
