    2D 3D view

The issue is that a camera gives no depth of vision, its a 2D image when manouvering alongside a wharf really needs a 3d appreciation

Looking at the image of the mast above, it could well be that it provides some kind of 3D FX. All the sensors are doubled, exactly what’s needed to get stereoscopic images.

EDIT: looking again at the pics it seems as there are even triple fits of the sensors per box…

    🙁

I consider the way the forums disappeared as a quite rude action towards the users (kind of customers and contributors). You cannot blame it on the webmaster, he has to do its IT job for an avation related publishing company.

I wonder how Key Pupblishing cannot provide any form of decent statement and explanation. For me it is not professional. People contribute something and then it disappeares from one moment to the other… OK, it is just the NON aviation stuff, but how do they deal with material that is sent in for publishing? How “moderated” is their published modern military material?…

A reasonable notice and a simple reason like HD space would have done the trick, however, now there are offended people.

I will give the other forums a try.

@ ha27 : Yemen is a bit too far away. The magazines are located in Belgium…

I like paper books / magazines quite a lot for the feeling, however, i do not like to move them around. I switched now to digital formats, in order ta have allways access to my resources.

I found somebody who will take the Magazines. 🙂 So there is no need anymore to contact me for this.

@ ollieholmes: You replied first and I tried to contact you by PM, but your mailbox is full.

I hope that my membership on this forum wil be as stimulating as reading the magazines. 😎

    cheers ,
