If you look under the horizontal stabilizer of the Chipmunk, you can see a number, which is probably a Canadian registration in the C-XXXX range. So it appears to be a civilian aircraft that has been doctored up to appear somewhat military.

The insignia on the vertical fins of the EC-145, as well as one of the flag markings on the Bolivian K-8, is the Wiphala, which an emblem, commonly used as a flag, representing some native peoples of all the Andes that include today’s Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and parts of Argentina, Chile and Colombia. See better view on this Falcon 50.

A couple more variations on the South Korean roundel, on two T-37s. First is an unusual version, second is the new one, with black bars.

Note the two versions of the Dominican Republic roundel. The standard one is asymmetrical, but the second is symmetrical and non-standard. I have seen it on a number of profiles in addition to these including P-51s, but no photos. Does anybody know if it is legitimate?

Afghanistan received four Blackhawks in September, with more apparently on the way.

Anybody know if the fuselage and wing roundels on this Iranian P-3 are legitimate, or are they bogus? I suspect they may be the result of a bit of “creative license” on the part of the image artist.
