Norway crash sites
Hi..I visited the USAAF B-24 crash site on Gausta Peak,Skorve near Seljord.I couldnt get my GPS to function properly,what settings do you use??

I suspect you are correct Alan,i have visited possible crash site of Walrus but not found any evidence of the of the crash so far.I was chatting to a local man in Crieff who didnt recall the accident either.He did say he remembers a JU 88 crashing in Glen Turret,that could possibly be the Walrus…who knows??..thanks again Alan.
Skeggy airfield
I remembered the F104 parked up,i also had a flight from skeg to nottingham with a friend in the 80,s.

Hi Sven I visited a B17 crash site near Seljord,Norway.Well worth the cheap Ryanair flight over.There is a couple of web sites dedicated to Norways wartime history,around Bergen to.
Thanks Simon for the info on the F111.I dont believe its any of the crashes you listed..The Kintyre crash went down near Skipness,crew ejected.And the Lauder crash I already have details of..I believe it was sometime in 1975 near Selkirk thats the only details i have so far…thanks again thoe..Dave
Hi Al Paul..I used to refuel the Nimrods at Kinloss.Just wondered if you ever came across Shackleton VP259 crash site at Haldon Hill near Forres.I believe it crashed 10.01.58 during a night time approach to Kinloss.

hi Alan..I visited the Anson crash site on Gallow hill.The Dakota i believe came down on a hill very close to Prieston Farm.When im over in dundee next,ill visit the farmer,he recalls the crash..dave
