KDC-10 Refuels C-17 for the First Time

The Royal Netherlands Air Force has two KDC-10 aircraft capable of transporting people and goods, and one other configures for in-flight refueling.

(Issued in Dutch; unofficial translation by defense-aerospace.com)

The other way around I believe: two configured for in-flight refueling and one – recently aquired and modified – for (troop) transport only.

I say stop traptor funding even short of 187 and:

    – Go back to the Boeing engineers to get them to reverse the econocuts they undoubtedly applied to the privately-funded redesign that resulted in the F-15SE, concentrating on building a true multi-role aircraft. Then order enough of them to replace the remainder of the current C/D fleet with.
    – Limit the JSF to USN/USMC to replace only harriers and hornets and get an even further Americanised Lockheed-Saab Gripen NG as a future front-line Viper replacement.
    – Order and employ the T/F-50 as a T-38 and NG Viper replacement (partly combining the two jobs)

    This will:

    – Save stacks of money and employ at least as many Americans.
    – Provide the armed forces with proven and dependable platforms.
    – Ensure a ‘working’ cutting edge through platform variation and related experience.

Just my two eurocents of course 😀
