More Talwars for India. Two ships will be build in Russia and two in India.
Does anyone know if these two ships which will be build in Russia are going to be two ships from trio of Admiral Butakov, Admiral Istomin and Admiral Kornilov? It kind of would make sense to sell them and build more of them later, if needed, when new engines becomes available. Or just build more Project 22350 class ships.

There maybe a thread about this somewhere but I didn’t see it, so I will mention this here. This is a HUGE deal for China.

That is interesting news. I assume they are talking about the new Zubr design.
Central Marine Design Bureau (CMDB) “Diamond” (part of the USC) developed a preliminary design of a hovercraft (SVP) of the new generation on the basis of “Zubr”, he told RIA Novosti on Tuesday the head of marketing department of scientific and technical information “Almaz” Dmitriy Tsygankov .
“We have prepared an initiative study of a new generation of SAP-based” Bison. ” If you build it earlier, “Bison” – a Soviet project, we are talking about a completely new project.
Keep in mind the article is quoting a project presented at Army 2015. Actual Navy order will probably be closer to 12-13K tons IMO.
Yeah. It would be kind of cool if the ship would be around 17-18K tons but about 12K tons would make a lot more practical sense.
Recent pic of Admiral Kasatonov.
This is not a navy vessel but could become one if needed. The link has a pic of the ship.
COSCOL’s 98,000t DWT newbuilding semi-submersible vessel “Guang Hua Kou” was successfully launched on April 28th at Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI). The “Guang Hua Kou” will be one of the largest vessels of its type when delivered end of this year.
Basic info about the new ship.

By the way, a while back there was a pic where semi-submersible vessel carried one of the chinese Zubr. Well, this ship could carry 6 Zubrs if China would have that many.
New coast guard ship. It uses the Type 054A frigate hull.
