It may just be me, but play.com suggests the DVD isnt available until the 8th of november, is this correct? I see no mention of it on DDs website, plus woolworths shows its out, but with the wrong front cover???? I’m confused! :confused: Is it out, if so where can i get it from properly? Thanks in advance :rolleyes:

Yeh, sorry about that, must not have taken it all in. The 262 is more sensitive than the rest, the reason it catches fire when you throttle down certain amounts is because it takes time for the fuel flow to decrease, too much fuel and you get the fire in the wrong place. Running out of runway though shouldnt be a problem, if you are able to taxi to the end of the runway, stop, hold breaks until you hit 50-60% then let go, you will accelerate quickly and have enough speed to increase the throttle more without any issues.

Not much more to it really, took me a long time to get it right too 🙂

The jet engines catch fire if you throttle up or down too quickly, slow increments and you’ll be up in the air in no time 🙂

Oh and my favourite plane is the Gladiator :diablo:

You need to extract the .bmp file from the zip file you downloaded eg. p51janie.bmp… Now browse to the location you installed the game, by default this will be C:Program FilesUbi SoftIL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten BattlesPaintSchemesSkins <– this is where you will find all the aircraft folders, so, for the example search the folders for P-51D-5NT or the NA version, open the respective folder, copy and paste the .bmp into it and you’re done. Hope this helps, if not, just say 🙂

I live and work next to Rochester Airport, any one know if this is a good place to start? The airport is always under threat from development of one kind or another, so it would be nice to add to the ‘leave the airport alone’ fund 😡 so to speak. Anyone had any experience from Rochester air schools? Or what would you recommend?

In the UK u can get it from any game retailer, patch 2.04 is free from their website 🙂

What map is are you flying then, my card handles the game ok at full spec, but i get nothing like that on the water! I want to fly in paradise too!!!! :confused:
