Nigeria has been trying to barter crude oil for 20 of these planes for about a year, I sure hope they get them.

What does “maneuver” under the weapon for a kill mean?

Well, in return, the Japanese tried tying incendiary devices to balloons, which they floated over in hopes of setting forest fires in Oregon or Washington state. I think one of them killed a family of 6, and that was about it…
In a very lucky strike, one of the Japanese ballon bombs hit the plant in Washington State that was making plutonium for the Manhattan Project.
Hasn’t one been under construction for a while. I wonder if “three” includes that one.
GD,
Do you know what role the F200s will fill in Tanzania? Thanks.

hanging bombs on the Me-262 was an evil thing to do.apart from that. Low-viz scheme are evil.
I think seahawk got it. Using Germany’s jet aircraft as bombers rather than fighters was probably the worst aircraft crime – and historically the most significant. I would go so far as to say that if Germany had used the jets as fighters and had a continuos stream of qualified pilots they may have had a shot at winning.
The (armed) K-8s sold to Namibia and Zambia were in the US$4mill range. That plane doesn’t have very advanced avionics hence most of that eqiupment would have to stay. Removal of the cannon would save some $ but not much. The $4mill price might include extras such as service, parts, ground eqiupment (things a private pilot could out-source). But I don’t think it could cost much less than $2mill.

Well then maybe it is for night time bombing.
That’s why the stealth fighter was painted black, they thought black would be better night-time camo. It turns out that moonlight/starlight reflects off the black surface. They now say a dull grey is a better scheme for night operations.
The October issue of AFM stated the Mig-23 was shown off at a live fire exercise in Zimbabwe. They don’t mention exact numbers but do suggest that Libya had offered to supply Mig-23s in 2000.
