    I still can’t get my head around why us brits pronounce “Lieutenant” as – Leftenant.

    P.S. Just had to edit this post in a topic called “Spelling” because of a spelling mistake!!!!

    Oh hell…. I gotta spend 8 hours one way and 7 hours back on one!!!! Air Transat have changed their schedules… I was supposed to be flying on a TriStar on the way back 🙁 🙁

    Interesting you mentioning the “Black projects” seems logical I guess! I attended a talk at university by a guy from Rolls-Royce, he reckoned that for a new engine to be developed it would cost 10 times as much as the entire project cost for the Channel Tunnel (At least). Which according to my research is around 150 billion US Dollars!!!!

    Building fast aircraft these days is difficult, because you’re going to need a new revolutionary engine. This will cost hell of a lot to produce, and I can’t see any manufacturers wanting to put huge sums of money into developing something which isn’t really needed at the moment.

    I enjoyed the show…. but I don’t think it was as good as last year. There weren’t as many international performers in the flying display I thought. But what the hell… I had a good day out… so I’m happy!
