    Thanks squasher… I’ll look out for them! After Chickenhawk I’ve got Douglas Baders life story lined up “Reach For The Sky” by Paul Brickhill.

    Thanks!! I’ll look into getting some of them! I’m in the middle of reading Chickenhawk by Robert Mason, quite good so far!

    Apparently the Marineflieger Tornado IDS had thrust reverser problems, and couldn’t slow down enough, so the pilot braked, and then they locked up or sopmething and were over heated, so he had to take the arrestor wire. The aircraft couldn’t be moved for a while because the brakes were red hot and couldn’t be handled.

    That’s what they said on the radio anyway! I think there should have been a back up plan so the show could go on with helo’s or V/STOL aircraft without a big delay. But hey, I enjoyed the show.

    Certainly was a great show!!! Best bits for me were the MiG-29 and the Gripen… seeing as I’ve never seen them fly before… Mind you, I never saw an F-4 fly until today either!!

    Hey, the Germans tempted fate too much aswell!!! On the tail of a static Phantom was written “Soccer World Champions 2002”.

    AARRGGHH – I’ve had enough of utilities already!!!! It can’t be done!!!!!! Can we say that The electric people sell gas too… it’d make it hell of a lot easier. 🙂 🙂
