    RE: Heathrow Question

Aircraft will land on the southernmost runway in the morning whilst taking off on the other runway… sorry forgotten which one is left and right!! This does change in the afternoon to give the local residents a respite. This system is used even with aircraft having to land with a 5 knot tailwind.

I think the A-380 is the way to go! The number of passengers wanting to fly will increase in the future, and I feel there is not enough airspace and ground space to locate more and more aircraft, so the other option is larger aircraft.

As for the 737 question, I know waht you’re trying to say. How different is the airframe from the original 737 prototype? I think that building something similar to the 737 would be a waste of capital, if airlines are happy purchasing the 737 in large quantities.

I’d say the aircraft with the three tails was an Airspeed Ambassador aswell.

It has two different sets of bomb doors I know that… I think it has one bomb bay though… I’m not certain, because it seems strange top have two sets of bomb doors for the same bay.

When I’m at home it’s Leeds/Bradford, and when I’m at university it’s East Midlands.

Lockheed Electra: Any still in commercial service?

I think there are some still operated by Channel Express and Air Atantique, they’re to only airlines which spring to mind at the moment. They are all cargo aircraft as far as I know.

Yep… it’s St.Maarten in the Caribbean somewhere!! I still want to lie on that beach with a 747 passing directly over me… what an experience that would be!!!!

Was the biz-jet based at Leeds/Bradford? I did my work experience at Multiflight a few years ago… They operate a Falcon 900B and a Citation VI, if I remember correctly… I think there’s some other Citations, including a Citation X and I think some Learjets aswell. I didn’t see the aircraft nearly clipping the ground.
