Last year, I won a WWF essay contest about the environmental impact of aviation. The prize was to visit LHR to have a look round. I’ve seen where Jeremy used to work!! I also got the opportunity to look round the animal reception centre. The guy from the TV programme still works there!! It was great… quite a few obscure animals were there… I got to hold a Python which was cool!!!!

Great pic!!! I’ve never seen a Gannet unfold before!!!! I must admit this is one of the most interesting wing folding mechanism’s I’ve ever seen!!

Not sure about where the turret came from… I thought the Hampden didn’t have gun turrets. If it is taken from a bomber it’ll be from a Whitley or Wellington.
