[QUOTE Humberside]Wingflaps2, you dont know why HUY got overlooked do you. Any chance in the future for an HUY route?

I don’t honestly know I’m afraid and if I did, I can’t comment about our commercial plans on a public site.

What I do remember about HUY from ad-hoc flight operations, is that the runway doesn’t offer the best payload performance and restricts operations, plus there are out of hours charges which the airport don’t like waiving.
    This could be a factor??

Our new Monarch Scheduled Malaga-Blackpool daily service will be operated by an Airbus 320 (174y).

I have read that the Maersk Air name is to disappear following the merger with Sterling. 😡

Looks like you’ll all have to wait until tomorrow to find out what is really going to happen! 😉

I think Mr Jeans is making the announcement at 9am.

By the way, the A320s will all be 174y configuration for this coming winter to make way for additional extra legroom seats on the ZB flights.

ZB are only dropping MAN-NAP for the winter. Haven’t heard anything about us dropping BHX-FAO. Wouldn’t have thought so.

How about flying easyJet BFS-LTN and then flying on Monarch Scheduled LTN-ACE??

Monarch Scheduled operate a scheduled flight LTN/ACE/LTN every Thursday.

Monarch are operating ad-hocs this weekend to/from BIQ and ORK/SNN/DUB.

    I think all are on G-MONB B757.

I’ve got to say that I doubt the credability of this survey. Can’t really explain why other than I can only assume that they conducted the survey onboard Palmair and Jet 2 flights?? :diablo: I mean, if Palmair are BOH based and Jet 2 BFS and LBA based, why on earth would the majority of the people surveyed vote for such regional operators, unless they surveyed people only in these regions???

G-OJMR, G-MAJS and G-MONK are due for paint in April, I think.

I don’t know when the A330s are going to be done.

That’s because the ownership costs on the A300 are low these days, as the aircraft are now owned outright by the company (although maintenance costs are higher due to age and reliability).

The other two A300s are due to be painted during this coming winter season, as well as the rest of the B757s, A321s and A320s, but not the A330s.

G-MONR and G-MONS will operate in a two class configuration this winter.
