    hi

Thanks for that didnt think of the that info just carried away by what was on the net.I must admit for an aircrew group they were high but the history surrounding them is an incredible and sad story.

love to know the aircraft this came from guess ill never know for definate the only clue i have is fw190 Brighton and beach as Andy said could be near the beach but guess there is a lot of that type of crash in the area of Brighton. The only date i have is 1943 and the guy said it was definately that? But people as they get older make mistakes and history over time is lost how sad but at least this is preserved so well.

Andy apparently he went to the crash site after dark and the guard went to get tea and he ran to the cockpit and grabbed the dinghy pack so must of been on dry land .

I loved it for me it was good memories reminded me of the days when i was a member at Twinwood farm where of course a lot of the filming was around the tower and other buildings.Great account and at the end my thoughts were for all of the airmen during ww2 who helped us live the free way we live today they are all heroes.:)

    sat iwm Duxford

Got the family ready Saturday morning left home 9.00 am for a 30 minute journey my 5 year old seemed more excited than me and definately the wife!! lol.I decided to use the park and ride guess what think i would of made it if i used my car.Waited 45 minutes for the only bus running to the park and ride as informed by a bus company worker. Then sat for 2 hours in a bus on the M11 with a show from the Red arrows which was awesome we finally got to Duxford at approx 1.30pm.I threw my toys from the pram because i wanted a good look round first and then relax and see the airshow so like an idiot stayed on the bus with most of the other people.I thought it would be an expensive day out for like a tight wad.Wrong im gutted and guess ill never get chance to see anything like this now. This was to be the start of me going to airshows as i have been to an airshow at Duxford about 5 years ago.Thought it would be good to take my son regular and get him into it guys do they fly this amount of spits anywhere else or was this a one off what airshows with a ww2 theme are the best to go to and when do they happen i know its a bit late now but at least i can plan ahead for next year.Although not the 70 anni of the bob and wont get to meet any of the actuall guys who took part.I have been kicking myself ever since and im gutted i got a strop on with Duxford for the management of the traffic!!
