Have you considered a used one? It doesn’t have to be the latest model. A used Canon 50d would be in your price range – an excellent camera. I use Canon (including the 50d) for the past 25+ years so I would recommend it.
Superb shots!
Great catch on#9, the genetically modified Angel 5/6 😉 and the #2 and #4 “Apocalypse Now II” shots.
Thanks.
PS: yes , more 🙂
The sun sets on a unique bird. Great shots Seamus. Thank you.
Cheers!
A great post as always. The F-4 and SU-22 pix would be my favorites.
I enjoyed your retrospectives – a very nice tribute to the Harrier.
Cheers!
Superb shots of a bird that is quickly becoming a classic. Great b&w’s that illustrate nicely its place in aviation history. I’m sure we will be seeing it for years to come, even after its retirement.
Sweet! Very nice shots.
Sad to see the Harrier go. I will miss it a lot.
Great shots! My vote goes to the first A400M and the MC-130 pix.
Thanks.
Great shots. The Me-109 looks superb… but I still vote for the Hurri photo.
Thanks.
No shortage of Merlins. Must have been a good show.
It was a gorgeous day at this open-door event – the organizers didn’t call it officially an Air Show yet. And of course the sound of the Merlins was sweet.
I’m always amazed how the far the Snowbirds push the envelope on these “old” Tutors. So, two thumbs up to these amazing pilots.

Cheers!
I enjoyed the Nords and the Fougas. I’ll be here in the spring for more 😉
It might be a question of browser/color profile – I did a quick color edit on the one I thought had the most magenta.

Anyway, it still is a nice shot.
Cheers.
Great shots.
Must be so peaceful up there. The closest one can get to flying like a bird. Mind you, I’m not sure I would feel comfortable without the reassuring noise of an engine.
Thanks.
Thank you Anna 🙂
Thank you 🙂
