Very nice. I enjoyed the video very much. My fav ususal suspects – Spitfire, Hurri, P51’s and Hunter did a great show. The Lanc and the B17 look very impressive.

FYI, it has been decided lately that the unified “Armed Forces” name will be replaced by its pre-60’s Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). That should be interesting.

A superb set but this time, I have only eyes for the Spitfire – the second shot is perfect in its simplicity, displaying the elegant shapes of the machine.

Great shots. The 16:9 format should become a standard for pix and video. It looks so much more natural for our steroscopic sight, don’t you think so?

Very nice pix but I understand you want to get the best out of them.
From my experience using the 100-400, it’s very soft at 400mm so a little heavier sharpening in Photoshop would help. As for the speed, I would suggest going at least 1/640 – taking the 1.6 crop factor into account, your 400 should be considered as a 640mm.

What a great day it must have been!
Maybe next year when everybody is at the football stadiums, I’ll treat myself to an air show trip to the UK.
