They haven’t suggested anything of the sort . The media have though reminded us of his past associations, friendships, supportive comments and core beliefs as evidenced by his published statements.
Don’t get upset, only taking the mick out of some of the crackpot stuff the papers seem to find, if only we had enough papers with a slightly less biased approach, we might see similar hatchet jobs on the likes of IDS, Osborne etc their core beliefs would certainly stand a more rigorous examining.

Telegraph-based rubbish. He is no more a vegan than you are. If the tory press told you he strangled kittens, would you repeat that unquestioningly too?
Considering the guy has just been elected as Labour leader from the back benches, the Tory press would have us believe he’s behind every misfortune to befall us, can’t wait for them to make him responsible for the financial crash and subsequent recession.

He point blank ignored the SKY T.V. crew, when they asked him about his intentions of having women in his cabinet. Now if that’s not being ignorant, I don’t know what is.

I know the guy is in a different position, but must confess if a gang equipped with cameras and sound equipment tried to question me in that sort of manner, particularly on the street at the crack of doom, personally would be tempted to tell them where to stick their equipment, what he should have done was smile sweetly and say sorry I have nothing to say yet.
Then again what can you expect from the likes of Sky, someone should just remind them that they do not have a prior importance.

Re 379
Trekkie,
Thanks for that, it’s much as I thought. Next question : Do you know if there has to be a ballot of members immediately prior to strike action ?
Currently there has to have been a ballot of union members on a specific issue, usually the unions are more likely to use this as a bargaining/pressure tool than to go immediately to strike action, suprising though it may seem to some, the unions see actual strike action as a last resort, they are very well aware that not only do their members lose pay, but also any support can quickly vanish from those affected.
The “wildcat” walkouts are now long gone, although many Tories are attempting to recreate them in people’s minds.

The strange thing is I worked in a large manufacturing industry in the 70s, through 9 years we had one brief stoppage of work, this was created by some middle management tosser, who after scanning the small print of working hours agreements, decided that the annual shutdown/holiday would start from midnight Sunday and return would be midnight Sunday 2 weeks later, instead of shutdown Friday afternoon and restart Monday.
This was announced by sticking a letter on noticeboards 2 weeks prior to holiday and refusing to talk to union reps, until one shift simply stopped work then senior management got involved, the MD of the company came in on Sunday, couldn’t believe that this was happening, scrapped the whole thing and for good measure fired the culprit.

Seriously? That’s why Labour lost the last general election? That’s why UKIP only won one seat? That’s why the Liberal-Democrats got utterly decimated…
…because David Cameron didn’t answer questions at PMQs?
Not in the slightest, but it’s a good point to start from, show the PM for the slippery character he is, Tories appear to be glorying in the possibility of demonising Corbyn, throw the tactic back at those who are really destroying the country.

On that I would agree, hope he holds Cameron to actually answering questions, if he can he is on a winner.
