    Hi All,
Charlie you are quite correct I was being polite with my reference being as we are a global forum. 😀 It’s just a shame that we never fully developed the plenum chamber burning or indeed utilised two engines of coarse not to mention the development of the supersonic P1154 with said plenum chamber burning, yet another example of this country’s excellent ability to interfere.Personally liked this design to follow on the Harrier – The super Harrier below. 😎

    Geoff.

The sad part of this is that prototypes were under construction as far back as 1965, think we could have ironed out any problems by now, in fact it was the cancellation of this aircraft which lead to the the Harrier as a cheaper alternative.

The only one we have seen neither sight nor sound of is UKIP, probably pull the same stunt as at the last locals, that was to have about half a dozen vehicles driving round and round with PA systems at full blast, didn’t last too long as locals stopped the car in our area, then informed the driver to turn it down, go elsewhere or finish up wearing his system.

I am sure there are plenty of quite nice Tory ex-MP’s.

My wish is for there to be a considerable rise in the numbers of ex Tory MPs.

Initially just a few police officers were at the scene attempting a peaceful resolution, with the rent a mob gang in attendance that simply wasn’t going to happen, as far as the rights and wrongs of the case, I don’t know the details, comment is superfluous.

I would imagine the heavy mob were there, simply because of the situation, looks like overkill, but all you need is one of the protectors wanted to make their name known and the whole damn thing could kick off.

As far as all reports go, Clarkson and pals adjourned to a pub and proceeded to get suitably smashed, delaying everyone by 2 hours or so, then was surprised to find that the world does not wait on Clarkson’s whims, certain staff had knocked off and gone home, the “big” man then threw a hissy fit which he then compounded by threatening, then striking a work colleague, no defense whatsoever no matter who he is, or more pertinently who he thinks he is.

Easy jet have already announced that if a member of crew has to leave the cockpit, then someone else must take their place until they return, in other words never leave a single crew member in sole charge.

I think you will find the victim is keeping his powder dry, has already stated that he would prefer not to be involved in some slanging match, however he has spoken to both police and the BBC, he has got a lawyer on the case, but is hoping for a satisfactory solution which keeps his job in place.
