On the subject of fault and insurance claims, I wonder how many will claim that they stopped, only to be rammed from behind and shunted into the vehicle in front, following that to it’s conclusion the whole claim could be pinned to the last vehicle in the pile up.

Most of it will come down to people leaving it too fine timewise for their journey and have to speed to keep to time.
Probably right.
For me when conditions demand would prefer to arrive late rather than dead on time.

Don’t know how it works, but there appears to be some sort of system which presents the calls coming aparently from a UK based operation, I have recently had a number of calls recently apparently from Glasgow, answered one call and the caller was most assuredly not a native of Scotland or indeed any part of the UK, challenged the source of the call which was quickly terminated.

I’ve always considered Milliband to be a nasty creep, and this has done nothing to change my view; he made it plain that he wouldn’t vote for the original concept, but would consider a watered-down version, which he got, then still made sure his mob voted against. No wonder his brother got the hell out of it.
Nasty creep as compared to who?
I have no doubt that there was more than a hint of playing political games in all this, which as another poster stated is exactly why there is so much distrust of politicians, however he got this game right whether the plan was to curtail military action or show Cameron up as an out of touch waste of space, he succeeded.
The entire Syrian war is a very murky mess, there is supposedly evidence of Saudi involvement backing the rebels, but more in line with growing the conflict rather than ending it, I for one do not support the UK going steaming into an armed conflict without being very certain of just who we are actually supporting.
Assad is certainly not number one nice guy, but who do the rebels represent? it would appear that Al-Queda have their grubby hands in this right up to the elbows, throw in extremist, militant Islamists, so who do we support? if we have any influence at all it should be used to bring about a stoppage to the fighting from both sides, remember the greatest war time leader we ever had prefered “jaw, jaw to war, war” wherever possible.

Good to see Miliband playing his part as opposition leader and staying Cameron’s hand. I think the prospect of cruise missile attack likely but any other action not only unlikely but not even under discussion.
Miliband (like him or not) has called this one much better than Cameron and most certainly better than Hague.

The incidents in Syria are horrific, but let’s not forget this a Syrian civil war, a few simple questions.
Can we stop both sides from slaughtering each other?————I very much doubt it.
If we support one side against the other, will we earn the undying gratitude of those we help?———–As no. 1
If we attempt to overthrow or aid the overthrow of Assad, will this seamlessly progress to a government of the people? ———–ditto.
Our intervention in this dispute will be seen as a great humanitarian act across the Middle East.———– Not a chance.
Why are we thinking of getting involved? particularly with a government doing it’s level best to decimate the military, yet still happy to commit men/women and resources to a project which I can see little good coming from.
If we could intrevene and get civilians out of harms way, then yes, but that simply will not happen.

You couldn’t possibly be insinuating that the good people on here would stoop to inuendo, or even consider a little gentle leg pulling.
Keep smiling if poss a little chuckle works wonders, provided it’s not too painful.

Have not been on the forum for a while, knew nothing of what’s been going on, glad you’re coming round, but take it easy as one old codger to another we don’t seem to mend up quite as quickly as we once did.
Take care Gil.
