Ah, yes! If we could only keep the Tories out of office for, say, thirteen years or so…

…then the electorate would see how good things could be and they’d never vote ‘Tory’ ever again!

It’s a great pity that Tories did get back in again, I’m not going to say that Labour are or were perfect, but they were doing a much better job of handling a bank created recession than Camercon, Osborne and co.

Finances are tight, but there seems to plenty of money for Gove for instance to play his idealistic and very expensive games with schools.

Sadly our financial situation is ideal for Tories to attack their idealistic targets while hiding behind the need to economise.

Did you know that many of the public sector workers laid off as an economy are now being quietly re-employed because of staff shortages, I am definitely pleased to see people back in jobs, but which bird brained idiot of a minister pushed through all these job cuts, which were actually self defeating.

Clear evidence, last month political commentators were puzzled has to how unemployment figures had fallen, but productivity had also fallen, the question being asked were had the jobs come from?.

    Megabucks Jim?

It’s a tidy sum, but I am not sure I count £65,738 pa as exactly in the pop-star / chavballer bracket.

    Moggy

Possibly higher pay, but complete ban on extra-curricilar activities, or how about part of salary be payment by results?.

Even better how about looking after the interests of the country and it’s people first, rather than following their own undeclared agenda.

You mean like the world leaders in the banking world?

Far to many MPs particularly Tory MPs are under the control of their paymasters and don’t give a monkeys about public service, serving the country or meeting the needs of the electorate.

Sadly too many believe Tory claims of free choice for everyone, when what Tories really mean is free choice for those who can pay and sod all for those who can’t.

Note the current “workfare” type scheme that the scum are trying to sneak through while Parliament is on it’s jollies.

Come on, who the hell is going to employ and pay young people if you can get staff drafted in for free.

During WW2 all Allied tanks apart from Soviet tanks, had an additional problem by comparison with German tanks, the simplest problem of all in that Allied tanks had to be readily transported by sea, had to be capable of being landed by landing craft which automatically put a restriction on size.

Soviet tanks which didn’t have this restriction very quickly became as heavily armoured and gunned as any German tank, working from memory the K2 was quite capable of going toe to toe with most German tanks and simply taking whatever was shot at it.

Capitalism is built on profit pure and simple, when that is achieved by efficiently producing goods and services that are wanted or needed it works for all.

Sadly in this country there are far too many cases were private business has been handed essential or monopoly services and then simply hike the prices to ensure the profit.

Show me please efficiency and/or competition in our water, gas, electricity and fuel suppliers, I see only an aim to confuse when looking at the rail companies, how can it be cheaper in some cases to fly than go by train?

Not that long ago investors put money into companies and projects and hoped to profit from the success of the venture, now financiers want to ensure profit without risk, stock markets don’t care about the companies whose shares they trade in, as long as they make a profit from the trade.

Banks and finance companies try to cut out the middle man (manufacturer/producer) and simply trade in money, feeding off each other for profit and allowing the general public to pick up the bill.

I am not some communist or a nationalise everything socialist, but I do believe that private sector should provide the things we want and public sector the things we need.

This dates back to last year, a VC10 was doing low level circuits around Warton in connection with some instrument setting on the airfield.

The circuits took it over a good part of Southport to the delight of many,
our local paper identified the VC10 as Boeing Jumbo Jet, not very precise as to which one, but easy to confuse of course, after all Boeing are well known for siting engines on the rear fuselage.:rolleyes:

Australia are quite fussy about who they let into their country, citizen or not the Australian authorities are probably quite content that this individual is not in country and would probably be quite happy to keep it that way.

Australia has not expressed any desire to interrogate, question, detain or extradite the worm, so why does he need to claim asylum with Ecuador? surely anyone else would first look for shelter within their own country or embassy.

I am going to have a rant so you so called liberal yoghurt knitters can stop reading now.

The comparison with animals of any description is a slight on most that walk this earth. These nonces should be destroyed without mercy, they should have no “Human Rights” at all. You can sit in you chairs and argue all you like but what if it was your child that was bu**ered or killed would you still think the same? I would happily hang them myself(and get their weight wrong so they died slowly)

Get this into your heads You will not change a kiddy fiddler or murderer. You will just end up wasting public money on keeping them alive. Top them and make the country safer for the innocents to grow and play without fear!

Before you sh1t your armchairs in indignation and reply to this do you sums and work out how much it has taken in cold hard cash to have kept Brady and the late Hindley in prison or institution. That is with moving on to Huntley and other pond life like him.

Quite calm assessment actually, for me, drug dealers and especially paedophiles are parasites and should be treated as such.

My own preference for them would be burial at sea from the bomb bay of a jet at 35,000 ft plus, this would make their worthless carcasses instantly recyclable and prevent any focal point for any other like minded creatures.
