Nice set and some nice aircraft too.
Nice shots.
Got mine Thursday,Aeroplane came through the post on Thursday too,and that had been in the shops since a week the Tuesday before, Post was late.Has anyone experienced problems with recieving Warbird Digest,my last 4 issues never arrived, and after emailing them I got the first 2 but the last 2 they seem to be ignoring it hoping that I’ll go away.
Still waiting for an issue of WD to turn up, they promised to send another to replace it but that hasn’t arrived either. Don’t think i’ll be renewing the subscription. Haven’t recieved the latest Aeroplane yet.
Got mine on Thursday.
Great shot Dean, haven’t seen you post lately.
Were you on the airfield for this JP shot?
The only place (I can see) that the JP can be waiting to turn left onto a Runway and be on large concrete tiles is the end of Runway 33 and facing Easterly(ish). This would put the photographer on the airfield……..or a hell of a good lens.
If you click the link above and zoom in you can still see the line across the concrete marking the holding point, I placed the cross where the JP is sitting roughly so that would make the photographer’s position somewhere on the small concrete roadway towards the building. So yes he was on the airfield when the shot was taken.

I hope you don`t mind me joining in,but when you mentioned that you like jp`s i remembered that i had one scanned on my computer(poor quality)it was taken somewhere around 1978 ish.
Nice shot, I’ve never been to Brawdy but that is where it was taken. See link for exact position of the JP.

Very nice shots, looks like Mildenhall 97.
Nice shots indeed.
The 1989 dates were 17th/18th June and the 2001 dates were 2nd/3rd June, a weekend that many won’t forget.
Very nice set.
If it was 89 MH434 displayed as a trio with NH238 and PL983. MH434 was painted light blue and the other two were in their Piece of cake colours.
Is this the same machine I shot at Yeovilton in 1994?? Lovely bird.
That one is the ex OFMC Fury.
It will be a shame to see the Dominie retire, it was 40 years ago this year since they moved from Stradishall to Finningley.

They should have flown it into Shawbury and roaded it from there, like they did the Victor.
