I’d still go to Mildenhall whatever the risks, for me it’s far safer than going to work.

The frecce tricolori crash at Mildenhall was 1979 and it was a Fiat G91PAN that crashed at Beck Row.

My first response was anger that the IWM were ‘giving away’ another exhibit. But after reading the attached story I am happy that the 105 is going to a good home with a certain local interest.

What happened to the F-105 that was BDR are Lakenheath ?

The 105 at Lakenheath was scrapped years ago.

Lovely shots Cliff, I guess that is Upavon in the background of the last shot.

No excuses for including this pic of Ormonde Hayden Baillie’s Sea Fury, taken i think at Duxford.

Nice shot, as for the T-33 i’m not sure who was the pilot that day. It was a busy day for the Hanna’s as it was MH434’s 50th anniversary show. 25/7/93.

Have you got any more of the T-33 when it was owned by OHB?

    Wow amazing photos!
I wish I could see that Hunter.

Superb shots Flapjack, looks like you had some fun flying the Hunter out there.

EGTC, That Hunter often appears at shows such as Duxford so it shouldn’t be too hard for you to get to see it.

I think your Harrier at Leicester was XW922 K from 233 OCU. It ended up at Manston i believe.
