NH238 and PL983 were operated by OFMC around that time and often appeared as a three ship formation team along with MH434. I remember seeing them at Biggin hill in 1989 and at one of the Duxford shows that year, if i remember correctly they flew as a two ship formation at Dx because PL983 overheated while waiting to take off. I believe it was Mark Hanna in PL983.
The aerial on the spit is a good clue that it is MH434.
the 3 b25s are:
salinah duke of brabant
grumpy ex TFC now Vulcan warbirds
Russels Raiders Ex jet alpine fightersCertainly is a real shame that the red bull fleet aren’t scheduled, but remember there was a ‘surprise’ scheduled so who knows? Pretty diverse list, just hope that the TFC fleet are just being left off the list as a safety first option. Remember, the horsemen were originally going to bring one of their mustangs over the pond as well, so this may not be the final list.
Roll on the weekend!!!!
It’s Sarinah, not Salinah.;)
Nice shots Neal.
As Neal said, well done.
Nice set, Typhoon is my favourite.
Just watched it on YouTube……

In the opening seconds (at 0.07) there is a head-on shot showing a Herk with 6-bladed props – and an IFR probe on the centreline.
The UK-modified C-130K has a square-section probe on the centreline, the new C-130J has a more aerodynamic probe offset over the pilot’s side (when it is fitted).
Then at 3.57 it is clearly a C-130K – with square section probe and FOUR BLADED props.
Then at 3.59 it reverts to being a J model – with 6-bladed props, no probe.
Same at 6.09…..
Clearly 2 (maybe 3) C-130’s involved in the shooting – but I am intrigued by the opening shot – it clearly looks like a K – but with 6-bladed props.
Puzzled…. a SIX-bladed C-130K ????
Ken
The head on shot at the start is a C-130J, it’s the tailfin you can see above the cockpit.
Nice piece of work, thanks for sharing.
Great shots Gary.
Here is my other passion.:)
I take it we will be off to polo later today then.;)

Nice shot.
Very nice, looked like a good show. Still haven’t made it to one of these shows or one at Rougham 🙁 they are only a few minutes away from where i live as well.
Lovely set of pic’s, really like the swift team shot.
Not forgotten:confused:……25 of the 66 still in service and for a long time yet
Garry
There is a lot less than 25 in service now.
