Lets not be too harsh on the group about this. It will be interesting to see what caused this failure this time though. I was under the impression that the complete oil system to that engine was cleaned and flushed out etc?
I would have thought that they have learned enough from the engine troubles of 98 so not to make that mistake.
Let’s hope they get the engines sorted soon.
Both canberras had served with 13 sqn during their life, the PR7 was on the strength of 1 PRU in 1992 and was with 100 sqn in 91. So my guess would be 92 when the piccy was taken.
They seem ok to me, and I kept an eye on how they looked as she was taking them and editing them. The skies are as they were on the day, so she did pretty good considering.;)
