Thanks i did know that but i normally have mine turned off when i need to change my lens.

did you, by any chance, change lenses while the camera was switched on?

Never do that always switch off first. Like Damien said quite likely to be a problem with the aperture, mine worked ok most of the time f4.5 when it was at the widest end of the zoom and likewise when zoomed out fully it worked fine at f5.6. In between that it wouldn’t work.

Just had a quick look through some pics i had of the Jumbo and it was definately 86 i believe the TFC’s thunderbolt being in the formation would confirm this. The early fighter meets are among my favourites with Ray Hanna making good use of the trees. I remember him being one of the last to land one year and he gave a great display, 87 i believe.
