I thought the jumbo was at North Weald in 86 i may be wrong.
Bound to be a few special schemes on the jags
Here are a few pics from today including the 3 wheeler chinook.
Yep even though the chinook lost a rear wheel during it’s display. Anna and i thought that Denny Dobson did a great display. Looking forward to seeing Damien B’s pics as we spotted him walking around with mrs B. Saw Janie’s shiny chipmunk also.
Very nice phantom hurry up and get the 56sqn one finished and on here Phil.
Wouldn’t be surprised the way they are putting those houses up on the old airfield.
Radio 1 is good ( cant stand that westwood bloke though ) but most of the other dj’s are cool.
If only the USAF would sponsor Sally B, if they just cancelled one F15 training mission and donated what that would have cost would go a long way to keep her up where she belongs. It’s a great tribute to the many americans that lost their lives in WW2.
As I have no idea who Ken35 is or was and I did a search to no avail. So the humour in the reference to seal culling was totally lost.
Admit it Nermal you saw a chance to exploit the typo I made to provoke a reaction and went for it. Smacks at hypocrisy considering your previous posts, condemning people for not using PM’s to vent their anger at each other.
Funny how the forum was quiet over the weekend with no flaming what so ever. Anna, 92fis and now you return and things start to fire up again.
Ian what is your problem, When Anna posted a new thread yesterday you straight away went and attacked her so surely that makes you a trouble maker. Then you wonder why she tells you to **** off, I don’t have a problem with anyone else on here just you because you stir it up then go running to the mods.
Is it Little Snoring Moggy c?
Was this one of the air display aircraft in 92?
We were told we would have to wait 45 mins before we could go in.
Anna states in the first post that this was for filming to take place. Unless you would suggest the museum not accept film crews and thereby deny a source of funding and PR, this must simply be put down to bad luck. I find a call in advance avoids disappointment in any museum visit.
It was a film show not filming.
Back in april 98 i was started working at RAF feltwell for 3 months, i remember as i drove home one afternoon looking between a couple of the hangars there was a nose section of an aircraft on a lorry looked like a viscount or similar would anyone on here know what it was or if its still there now?
This one is at Parham.
