When I get time and inclination, i’m going to email a complaint the TV people that ban adverts etc. There has to be something about insecent advertising….

The all new Focus….. as a learner driver. A very very nice machine it is too. You can feel the refinements over the previous Focus 🙂

Only around the midlands in July. On thursaday the 8th? I’ll be in Cosford with a bunch of my virtual squadron from IL-2 Sturmovik. Friday I hope to be in DX watching the final preps and enjoying an empty airfield, saturday at the display, saturday evening in Cambridge following up the 242 Squadron tradition of having a curry, and then going to the Eagle to have a few drinks and pay our respects. Sunday I’ll be on the road to the south watching all the lovely hairyplanes come screaming in just above my head, lovely 😀

That’s my “holiday”. The rest of summer will be spent working for the met police.

She MIGHT have already flown. I posted a thread last week about a possible sighting of Princess Elizabeth taking to the air again. It was disproven to be either Miss Helen or Jumpin Jacque. It’s a 50/50 answer on my part. No doubt someone will post an accurate answer 🙂

Just becasue they arn’t there, it doesn’t mean they arn’t being remembered- I personally can’t watch a Spit or Hurri, or any warbird for that matter fly without having a little thought for all those that gave their lives, and who still live, flying. Also perhaps they might not want to be present at such events for the possibility of being made to feel like a circus act? I can imagine some of them just want to put it all behind them and see out the rest of their days in peace and tranquility. If they do wish to attend, then have an invite for them, dont make them come.

Wow!! Those are impressive!. I do like to look at the sky at night, but living in the city makes it a bit tricky to see anything with all the light pollution 🙁
