Pete, it appears that all the spark plug leads on the upper harness come out of one side with the leads on the right bank going under the main harness. Is this correct? Also where does the upper harness attached to the engine.

Absolutely. As has been pointed out nosewheel aircraft are considerably easier to land than taildraggers. The predominance of nosewheel types in the US is almost certainly a reflection of the lower standard of US pilots. :p

Not all of us. I’ve got more taildragger time than tricycle gear. I also prefer a stick to a wheel.
Great photos Pen Pusher. I enjoyed seeing the Rata, The French Corsair (I’m assuming that it was an F4U-7) and the P-51 in post war markings. All in all a great job.
