How about my thinking that the piece mounted and dated may have been damaged “on the ground” by the “Zepplin raid ” ?????
Can anybody identify the item, is it from a Zepplin ?????

Thank you all for your input here, yes I did buy it for very few £££s, I agree the shadows are misleading ! is that artistic licence ??
I have seen the BKS website, it is so nice to see all that enthusiasm still there after all these years.
Old Git, Nice little personal input there, thank you.
There is a label stuck to the back of the picture which has details of it’s entry into a GaVA exhibition during 1998 ! and a valuation / price ?????

Some time ago I visited the ‘shed’ at Coniston Water, standing there with those memories from the past ticked a few boxs in my ‘things to be done’ list.

colhot, if you search the members list for “shed man” he is a very active member of the ‘Fenland and West Norfolk Aviation Museum’ and I am sure he would not mind you sending him a private message to update your records ! I do know they are experiencing a lot of changes at their museum which may be why contact is difficult at the moment.

Timbo ! very basic question ! are they push buttons or indicator lights or illuminated push buttons ????
I seem to remember the same sort of thing at the bottom of the stairs in a Marrakesh bordello ! indicating which exit to use (to avoid embarassment or to avoid the police) ????? :D:D
