Thanks Moggy ! I like the geneology of beechcraft, if you look at this fuselage and think ‘late Bonanza’ with two engines ? then look again and think ‘early Baron’ with a rearward fin …. And how about that ‘one piece windscreen’ for 1959 ??
Keith 🙂
Thanks EGTC ! I rather liked that one, the church tower in the trees is sort of fitting I thought ??
Keith 🙂
Thanks you gentlemen ! Yes so sad ! I have heard, may not be true, that the crews were ferried back from NWI by coach ! Sign of the economic times I suppose !
Keith 🙂
Yes a very sad day at Norwich today ! I left with that feeling you have when you have been to a funeral !!
Eight airframes “resting” at Norwich tonight …. Keith 🙁

Very nice indeed ! Some exotic Gulfstreams in your collection ! (we know a man who will get excited about those ??) I assume the 146 / RJ is MET1 ??
Keith 🙂
Thank you all for your thoughts on this ! Yes it seems Mr Thielert had a very ‘unusual business practise’ or two !
Having just read the Wikipedia account ….

All seems safe now with the engines under control of Centurion Aircraft Engines.
Keith 🙂
Thanks EGTC. A couple more from the day !
Keith 😎

Thanks mate ! the light this evening was ‘challenging’ to say the least ! but hey we live with it ??
Keith 🙂
WoW ! What a supurb collection of very rare aircraft photos …. I realy like the ‘shaped’ tow bar for the IL76 (if thats what it is ?) and the Tu114 photos.
Keith 🙂
Oh alright then ….one of my best from a bad day at Marham yesterday ! … but still 3 VC-10s in formation in 2012 !
Keith 😎

Quality set yet again Matt ! The Condor take off is so nice, the sky sets it off a treat !!
Keith 🙂
Mr Scotty ! What an action packed collection ! I love the S-92 nose on lift off it has so much detail and movement …. I want one like that ???? 😀
Keith 🙂
nibb100. I do not think anyone knows exactly what is going on ! I am told the Venezuelan govenment pulled out of their original backing of Lamia ? since then, and I think this is over 18 months, these aircraft have been regularly run and often visit KLMuk’s hangars.
The latest obvious sightings are the ‘taping over’ of the Irish registrations and the .ve part of the web address on each aircraft … one aircraft has the Aruba registration P4-GIU showing, and the other three are to be P4-ARI, P4-LOR and P4-TIZ or so we are told ??
Hope this helps, or maybe, adds to the confusion ??
Keith 🙂
Thanks for that EGTC !
Another very similar from today …
G-TAWH leaving with high hopes of sunshine in Ibiza
Welcome to the ‘Nikon world of … the light must be spot on or we aint going to give you a good image’ !!!!!
I have been struggling with this for years ????
Your Freebird photo looks very good, better than I would get 😎
