Keith.

ian. I cannot answer your questions, must leave that to the very knowledgeable people who frequent this forum ! I only provide some photos, this one from the supurb rebuild at Duxford.

Oh well ! same name different person maybe ? Thank you also!
Keith.
Sideslip That name ring a few bells ! I may be totally wrong but I have that name as a dealer in aircraft radio kit at Coventry, I think ?
Also did he own / fly a Percival Prentice in the late 60’s early 70’s …. I seem to remember being despatched from Norwich to Hethel, in the Colin Chapman, days to do something to a Gipsy Queen on a Prentice which I am sure he had popped into with a problem ??????
Keith.
Hi Newforest ! Yes I’m here … its been ongoing all day ! lots of fire crews in attendance … no external signs of fire damage some smoke issueing from above earlier … maybe a fire within the roof void above their suspended ceiling, where, I know there is a lot of timber work !! The aircraft, a Transavia B737, was removed, undamaged it seems, late this afternoon …. the aircraft in the other end of the hangar, used by KLM, an A319 of Aurora is having a check C and may not be able to be removed ? but I really don’t think the risk to it is too great at the moment …. just my assessment of the situation ! it has been a little over reported in the press I think ??
Keith 😎
Thank you Newforest …. Both me and my camera are old and rusting …. but like coiled springs ready to jump !! :eagerness:
Keith 🙂
Sensational headline again !! From what I have read, and if you read the article, it slipped from the side of the taxiway ???? As I understood it aircraft larger than a 757 had to do a lot of ‘back tracking’ to avoid that taxiway ….. !!
Keith.
N104CJ passed through Norwich, for fuel, on 17.07.2015 flying from Norway to Shannon !
Keith.

Thank you, j_jza80, for those kind words ! I will add a couple more photos from the day ….. enjoy !
